Moja to dotarła do -20 stopni C, sporo dni. Interesujące, że te pędy nowe wyrosły w środkowej części kłączy rośliny, pozostałe części rośliny jakby martwe (zwykle takie "umarłe" odbijają od podłoża?). Ech, zobaczyć, jak toto wygląda w naturalnym mrozie

"The name Coelogyne comes from the Greek koilos (hollow, cavity) and geny (female), referring to the deeply set stigmatic cavity at the front of the column. I suppose it should be pronounced ‘koi-lo-GUY-nee’ but, on the assumption that the traditional English pronunciation is in common use and is to be preferred, then the choice is ‘see-lo-GUY-nee’, ‘see-LODGE-eh-nee’ or ‘see-law-JI-nee’. I recommend that the last example be ignored and that it is a matter of personal taste whether you chose the first or second. I have settled on pronouncing it ‘see-lo-GUY-nee’"
Zresztą na forum niemieckim też rozgorzala dyskusja na temat wymowy Coelogyne po niemiecku - wiekszosc uwaza za oczywiste "Z(oe)logüne"... az ktos odeslal do oficjalnego slownika "Orchideennamen aussprechen"... i zamilkło... http://www.orchideen.ws/orchideennamen-aussprechen.html
